1. About these terms

“We”, “us” and “our” mean Demon Alter Studios. Contact us at demonalterstudios@gmail.com. These terms apply to our website and connected services. A game may also have a licence or product-specific terms supplied with it. External stores and membership platforms have their own terms.

Use the services only if you agree to the terms applicable to that use. These terms do not remove any rights the law gives you as a consumer.

2. Adults-only content

Our website promotes games and content intended for adults aged 18 or over. Do not enter adult-content areas if you are under 18, or below any higher minimum age applicable where you live. You are responsible for making sure accessing this content is lawful in your location.

The 18+ notice asks for a self-declaration and remembers your response in a cookie. It is not identity verification or proof of age. Our Privacy Policy and these terms remain available without confirming your age.

3. Game connections and security

Website registration and sign-in are not available. External games can connect to our game API using Patreon. The connection verifies your Patreon identity and may create or link a game-service record; it does not by itself confirm a paid membership or entitlement to a particular reward.

Paid benefits depend on the relevant offer and platform. Keep Patreon credentials and game access tokens private. If you suspect unauthorised use, secure your Patreon account and contact us. Do not send passwords or access tokens by email.

4. Purchases and consumer rights

Before paying on a linked platform or in a game, check the seller, price, billing frequency, benefits, system requirements and cancellation terms shown for that offer. Manage an external membership or payment through the provider where you made it. Contact us if a Demon Alter Studios benefit is missing or a game is not working as described.

Cancellation and refund rights depend on the purchase and applicable law. Nothing in these terms makes all purchases non-refundable or removes statutory rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or undelivered digital content or services. Where immediate access to digital content affects a statutory cancellation right, the required information, consent and acknowledgement must be handled at the time of purchase.

A platform’s refund process applies alongside your legal rights. When contacting us about a purchase, include the game, platform and order reference, but do not send full payment-card details.

5. Responsible use

Use our services lawfully and respect others. Do not:

• Attempt to access another person’s records, tokens or private information.
• Disrupt services, bypass security controls or send malicious code or abusive automated requests.
• Submit unlawful content, misuse personal information or infringe intellectual property rights.
• Manipulate purchases, game balances or service requests to obtain benefits you are not entitled to.

Choose leaderboard names suitable for public display. For image-generation features, submit only material you have the right to use and avoid confidential or sensitive personal information.

6. Content and permitted use

Our branding, game materials, artwork and software belong to Demon Alter Studios or their respective rights holders. You may browse the website and use content as permitted by the relevant game licence or offer. Buying or downloading a game does not transfer ownership of its intellectual property.

Do not redistribute, sell or use our materials commercially without permission, except where the applicable licence or law allows it. Contact us if you want permission for a use not covered by a published licence.

7. Availability and restrictions

Maintenance, technical faults and external providers can interrupt access. Release information may change as development progresses; a development plan is not a guarantee of a release date or feature.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a security risk, unlawful use or serious breach of these terms. Where practical, we will explain the reason and how to contact us to resolve it. Restrictions and service changes remain subject to your rights in relation to paid content and services.

8. External services and privacy

Links to Patreon, stores and communities lead to services run by other providers. Their terms and privacy notices apply to your use of those services. We do not control their availability or content.

Our Privacy Policy explains personal information, game connections and cookies. Your analytics choice is separate from acceptance of these terms and the 18+ notice.

9. Our responsibilities

We are responsible for losses caused by our breach of these terms where those losses were reasonably foreseeable. A loss is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of the breach or was contemplated by both you and us when the relevant contract was made.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory consumer rights, including rights relating to the quality and description of digital content and services, continue to apply.

10. Questions and disputes

Please contact demonalterstudios@gmail.com with a description of the issue and the outcome you are seeking so we can try to resolve it.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers keep any mandatory protections of the law where they live and any right to bring proceedings in their local courts. These terms do not require you to waive those protections.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. The date above identifies the current version. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights connected to an earlier purchase. If a material change affects an ongoing paid service, we will provide any notice and options required by law.
